Mrs. Ashlee Quibodeaux

It is with pleasure that I introduce myself to you as we embark on this 2021-2022 school year. My name is Ashlee Quibodeaux and I will be your child’s 8^th grade Mathematics teacher. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business and am currently completing my teacher certification. This will be my first-year teaching, but please know that I will be working very closely with Mrs. McMillan (our other 8^th grade Mathematics teacher), Mrs. Nadine Dickerson (our course coordinator), Mr. Bergeron (Assistant Principal), and Mrs. Granger (Principal). I am honored to have this opportunity.

Educating young minds, making a difference, and leaving a lasting impression are a few reasons why a teaching career has become my passion. Teaching has always been a part of who I am, and I enjoy facilitating in the learning process. Having a passionate teacher can enhance your students mind and provide opportunities to instill confidence throughout their educational progress. As your child’s teacher, I hope to gain the opportunity to watch them overcome adversities and assist them as they continue their educational journey. It is not a job in my opinion; it is a unique opportunity to assist in shaping their young and growing minds. They will play a vital role in society one day and as a teacher it is my utmost responsibility to ensure they are properly equipped for the task.

My mission as a teacher is to facilitate learning by engaging students to be a part of their own educational progress through encouraging positivity, offering opportunity, and pursuing interest of every student while providing a comfortable nurturing environment where they feel valued.
